I have of course succumbed to the incredible pressure placed on me by my four devoted readers (thanks mum et al.) and am warming up to the Second Issue, starting May 1st with a jaunt to (wait for it) Otaki, to celebrate my dear uncle's 90th birthday, and thence to Gay Paris to look for Eloise (we couldn't find her), perhaps Dublin, and then to the conference.For your viewing pleasure, I also include a photo of my charming travelling companion, Ms Gillanders. She is normally a little camera shy, but I feel the paparazzi have caught her in a sensitive moment, as she reflects on her childhood in Austria. You can tell by my expression that I do not believe the story she is telling me about what her mother made her eat when she was little, and where she bought her coat.
